Spiritually - I'm learning that complaining (and murmuring) gets me very little in my walk with God. It prevents me from making better choices, being faithful, and guarding my heart. Essentially - it's my way of questioning God or being doubtful of him. Naturally - complaining can have the same ill effects. But wait a minute...I'm a counselor. Don't I help listen to people complain ALL day long. Don't I bank on peoples sorrows and ongoing dissatisfaction of life? Nope.
Dreams. They come and they go. Sometimes you remember them, sometimes they fizzle away before you get to recall 'em. I've always been a Freudian type girl so naturally I believe dreams really tell more of what we unconsciously have going on inside. Due to this, I've always been in tow with my dream dictionary handy and journal to document any wild visions. And I have also believe that at times God will talk to my directly through my dreams, much as I've read about those in the bible before me.
I have too much to do, in too little time, with not enough sleep and not enough money. This is the mindset of many American women. Heck, men too. But for women who are professionals, partners, friends, mothers...and so forth, this is a painful and daily reminder. We wake up saying these things and we go to bed saying these things. We never do enough, there's always more. And we. reach. our. breaking. point. OVERWHELM.
